The synagogue can hold up to 3,000 people and features intricate decorations, grand arches, and a stunning interior. It also houses the Hungarian Jewish Museum, where visitors can learn about the history and culture of the Jewish community in Hungary. The synagogue's beautifully landscaped garden includes a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, including a moving tree sculpture with the names of those lost during World War II. The Great Synagogue is a symbol of resilience, having survived both the Nazi occupation and the Soviet era. Today, it stands as a vibrant center of Jewish life in Budapest and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
